My classmate, Damian
There are some people who do not fear trying, even if everyone makes fun of them. They are one of the boldest people out there, cause even if they know they might fail and everybody might tease them, they still try.Unlike the people who teases them, they are the ones who don't try when the opportunity comes. Who are you between these two? Hi, I'm Ashley Svishnu and today I'm going to be talking about my classmate, Damian.
Before I start, yes, I'm back. I took a long break from posting because of my lack of ideas. That is because I fall under the category of the people who fear trying. When I started out blogging, I had so many ideas and was so confident. Then I started to doubt myself and my ideas, I always thought that those ideas might not be good to talk about in the blog. So I never did it.
But then there's Damian. He's one of the loners of my class to be honest. I know that's sad, but I guess he's used to it. I'm not close to him, but the one thing I admire him for is his guts to try. Whatever it is, choir, competitions, dance, skit,etc.
He always wants to participate. He doesn't care what people think of him, he still tries. While some of us fear participating because we fear losing or our friends' opinions. I realised that my fear of trying shouldn't stop me from participating in what I like. Even if I lose, I still tried. Even if I made myself look like a fool, I was bold enough to try and next time, I will try better.
If you don't try because of your reputation, then you are bringing in self doubt and fooling yourself. If you don't seize the opportunity in front of you, you might start to regret.
So try without the fear of losing and better yourself in your talents and hobbies.
